Dr. Daniel Noor, D.M.D.
Dr. Daniel N. Noor, DMD attended George Mason University located in Northern Virginia for his undergraduate premedical education. He started and led many educational clubs and organizations and graduated with honors obtaining a dual degree in biology and chemistry.
Dr. Noor graduated form one of the top clinical programs in US from Temple University School of Dentistry as one of the youngest among his class. He was awarded several clinical awards for his excellent work both in terms of patient management, patient satisfaction and the actual clinical treatments. Dr. Noor has since taken many continuing education courses focusing on full mouth reconstruction, cosmetic treatments such as veneers, lasers, invisalign orthodontics, CEREC single visit crowns, and much more. He has become one of the leading doctors and top provider of invisalign treating some of the most difficult orthodontics cases in the world using his own invisalign system! Dr. Daniel Noor has written several articles on various topics in the field of dentistry and oral medicine and he has been published in several clinical journals, and health related magazines. He has also been a guest on few radio shows and fox news. He has been recognized in Forbes magazine regarding his entrepreneurial approach to health care at his Park Ave. New York City based office.
In a continuing effort to make dental care more pleasant for everyone, Dr. Daniel Noor has been involved with research with YSGG Lasers and use of special plasma brushes to remove decay without the need for shots, needles, pain or any drilling! Lasers have long been the standard of care in medicine for many surgical and cosmetic procedures such as LASIK, wrinkle removal, hair removal and many others. The Waterlase® was approved for hard tissue procedures in 1998 and since has been cleared for numerous additional dental procedures. The Waterlase employs patented HydroPhotonics™ tissue cutting technology that combines YSGG laser energy and water.
Dr. Noor’s favorite quote is “Imagination is more important than knowledge” simply because he has come up with so many tools and techniques to insure excellent outcome for each of his treatment cases. “I could never find all the answers in the books” he states. Therefore, he had to think hard when facing any challenging situation and keep thinking and imagining until he finds the solution.
Dr. Noor is very passionate about all aspects of his career especially the patients! He spends the first visits simply getting to know the patient and jokes around with them. He does not believe in starting any treatment until the patient is totally comfortable with the doctor, the staff, the office and the entire treatment plan. He often encourages the patients to even seek a 2nd opinion just so they are totally sure of the doctor they have chosen to do the treatment. He remembers one of his old professors saying that not every doctor is right for every patient! However, he strives to keep all his patients as his life long friends and spends time with many of his patients for group dinners, etc in the city! By doing so, he has gotten so many patient referrals and met so many others to the point that he is overwhelmed with great amount of positive response… He says he spends a good part of his weekends just answering patient e-mails! Another good part of the time, he works on invisalign computer modeling and doing research to come up with better ways to treat complicated cases. Dr. Noor loves to learn and teach and he has spent much time either learning new techniques or teaching what he knows to other doctors.
Dr. Noor feels honored to work with several other highly qualified doctors/specialist in various fields of dentistry by his side at his Park Ave. Office. He sees this as Total Care Approach where each doctor does only what they are best at in order to provide the highest quality of treatment to each and every patient.
